Hip Hop Artists Online Submission
To enter the competition as a Rapper/MC; You must register online and pay a $30 registration fee to be considered to compete in Season 1 of Drop the Beat competition series. Below is the show eligibility criteria:

Artist must be ​16 yrs (with guardian) and older. You must be U.S. Citizen to register.

Artist must be unsigned and not signed to a major record label or studio

Submit your best song or a Youtube link

Select the nearest city to perform (in your region)

All submission will be screened by a panel of esteemed judges. Only approved artists will be competing in the competition series. If you are selected there is an associated production fee. You will be emailed all payment details if selected.
Hip Hop Producers Online Submission
To enter the competition as a producer; you must register online and pay a $30 registration fee to be considered to compete in Season 1 of Drop the Beat competition series. Below is the show eligibility criteria:

Producers must be ​16 yrs (with guardian) and older. You must be U.S. Citizen to register.

Producers can be underground or experience, But not signed to a major label

Submit at least 2 Beats (for review)

Select the nearest city to perform (in your region)

All submission will be screened by a panel of esteemed judges. Only approved producers will be competing in the competition series. If you are selected there is an associated production fee. You will be emailed all payment details if selected.
What to Expect?
If you are selected from the online audition; you will be performing at one of the five live qualifying shows:

The South (Atlanta)

Southwest (Houston)

​West Coast (Los Angeles)
-
Midwest (Chicago)
-
East Coast (New York)
​
The first rounds in the above cities will be performing before live audience and the Drop the Beat judges. The top 40 rappers and producers from the 5-cities will be invited to Atlanta where the winners will formed into powerhouse duos and in hopes of claiming the $200,000 grand prize.

Fan Support - Rally your fans! Each contestant is required to gather their supporters to attend the taping of the Drop the Beat series at one of the five cities and at the main event in Atlanta, GA (if selected). ​
​
​Rest assured-Being a part of this competition would not affect your lively hood. You will not be required to stay in Atlanta GA for the filming of the competition.
All participants in the competition will be eligible for:

Evaluation for a talent deal with Official Boss Mode Entertainment Inc., the parent company of Drop the Beat
